Soozie Courter Scholarship



For the 2010-2011 academic year, Wyeth, a Pfizer owned company, will award $10,000 in scholarships to students in the hemophilia community, including two $5,000 university or college scholarships.

To be eligible, students must have either hemophilia A or hemophilia B and be a high school senior, or have a high school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED), or be currently enrolled in an accredited vocation/trade school, university, or community college.

In 2000, the Wyeth Hemophilia Scholarship program was renamed the Soozie Courter “Sharing a Brighter Tomorrow” Hemophilia Scholarship Program to recognize Soozie Courter, a valued and respected friend of the hemophilia community who passed away in 1999.
